About us
Hyndman Londonderry Public Library was established to provide for the recreational, informational and educational needs of the community. In 2018, the Hyndman-Londonderry Public Library officially became a branch of the Bedford County Library.
Our library serves residents of Hyndman Borough and Londonderry Township. Which includes, Madley, Cooks Mills, and Stringtown to name a few. We have many popular fiction books, children’s books, magazines, New Release DVD's, local newspapers and Free Wi-Fi. Through the Altoona Library, we are able to offer eBooks. We hold a large variety of Hyndman-Londonderry history, as well as Bedford County history in our newly located History/Meeting Room. Among re-arranging some things, we have also rejuvenated the entire indoors of the library.
Our New Hours beginning October 1st, 2018 will be as follows:
Mon-Tues: 11am-5pm
Wed-Thur: 1pm-7pm
Fri: 1pm-5pm
Sat: We will be open the FIRST Saturday of every month from 9am-1pm
